Within innovation and development activities in Alupol Packaging S.A in Tychy, after many months of research, we have been awarded with the certificate confirming the unique technological development of the oxybiodegradable polyethylene films produced on blowing film lines and on paper with polyethylene laminate received during coating process on an extruder.
The basic project brief was to receive biodegradable product in compliance with our ISO 22000 and Brc Systems. Our films and laminates biodegrade after some programmed period of time, yet the products are perfectly safe for the whole shelf-life. Research conducted in an independent laboratory Pyxis CSB Ltd in Great Britain has confirmed the oxybiodegradable properties.
Paper coating with biodegradable polyethylene is a pioneering technology on packaging market, for we haven’t heard anything about such packaging to be introduced on packaging market so far.
This type of films and laminates will enable us to widen our portfolio and offer our clients pro-ecological packaging.
