The Management Board of Alupol Packaging  S. A.   is proud to announce that on 15 February 2011, it received confirmation that  the Company has received a new permit for extended business activity in the Katowice Special Economic  Zone (license No 309 of 15 February 2011). This includes: construction of production hall, storage and office space, purchase of an extrusion blow molding machine for the production of multilayer plastic films and purchase of a laminating line. The minimum value of this planned investment will amount to 32 million zloty. These expenses are included in the capital expenditure forecast for 2011, published on 9 February 2011.
 

This investment, along with the currently  implemented  installation of 10-color rotogravure  printers and  an extruder tandem device, will meet the expectations of the market for increased  production capacity in Flexible the Packaging Market (an increase in capacity in the various product ranges of about 15 - 20%) and is consistent with its long-term development strategy.
 

Alupol Packaging  S.A. is the largest manufacturer of flexible packaging in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. It delivers products primarily to food industry  giants such as Nestle, Unilever, Bonduelle and Kraft Foods.
